SCHOOL
ASSEMBLY PROGRAMS
The Gypsy Folk Ensemble
presents a choice
of six different international dance assemblies
suitable for all grades. All shows feature four dancers in authentic
costume and include audience participation and an educational
narrative. Our fees are $500.00
for a single 45 minute assembly,
$850.00 for two assemblies at the same site, and $1200.00 for three
assemblies. The
Gypsy Folk Ensemble is a member
of the Arts Community Partnership Network (ACPN) and has been part of
the program since its inception. The ACPN
is a program instituted by the Arts Education Branch of the Los Angeles
Unified School District (LAUSD) to help bring the arts to Los Angeles
area
students. See our Comprehensive
Dance Package for more details of our program. We are accepting bookings now for
the 2011-2012 school year. Gypsy works
in public and private schools throughout Southern California including
Santa Barbara, Ventura, Orange County, Riverside, San Bernardino and
San Diego so even if
your school is not part of the LAUSD, you can
still take advantage of our school assemblies, workshops
and our Comprehensive
Dance Package. We can adapt our material and
presentation to suit your school's needs and budget. The company
occasionally makes tours to the San Francisco Bay area and elsewhere in
California and the Southwest United States - contact
us for more
information on tour schedules and fees.

can
range from a one-day dance session for a single class to multiple day

grades. Materials include lesson plans, dance directions, and music for
the dances taught. | |

are designed
to provide teachers with dances and background material suitable for
all grade levels. Music for dances on a CD and a 40 page syllabus
containing full directions for all dances and tips on teaching dance
